Standard Solar is a proud new member of the Independent Electrical Contractors, Inc. - IEC, a premier trade association dedicated to forwarding industry excellence, engagement and education for electrical contractors worldwide.

PARTNER HIGHLIGHT

EDF Renewables North America is the next partner highlighted in our 20th Anniversary series, PARTNERS IN THE ENERGY TRANSFORMATION. In the past few years, Standard Solar has collaborated several times with the North American branch of this global renewables developer.

Some of our projects have included the 4.7 MW solar and 4 MWh storage Lawsbrook project, the 1.5 megawatt (MW) solar and 2 megawatt-hour storage Knox project and the 2.61-megawatt (MW) solar project at Lehigh University. Most recently, we acquired the 9.9 MW Bluebonnet Project for Messer Americas in Texas from the company.

EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT

As part of Standard Solar's 20th Anniversary celebration, we've launched a series entitled MAKING A DIFFERENCE to highlight some of our longest-tenured employees, dedicated solar veterans who are the backbone of our organization and essential to our success.

First up is Rick Berube, Chief Operating Officer, who has been with Standard Solar 14 years this September! Rick told us that a highlight of his time at Standard Solar has been growing from a small residential solar installer to the #1 DG commercial and industrial (C&I) solar owner/operator in the country. He also loves being involved in our multiple community outreach efforts and charity events that help our communities.

Rick's favorite aspects of working here include:
✅The people: working with people who want to make a difference in climate control
✅The mission: reducing our nation’s carbon footprint
✅The education: helping homeowners and corporations alike understand the economic and social benefits of solar power
