📣 In 2013, Standard Solar installed our nation’s first solar-powered commercial microgrid.

Ribbon Cutting: Lake County

Standard Solar was honored to cut the ribbon in Libertyville, IL for our 1 MW array developed in partnership with WCP Solar for Lake County’s Central Permit Facility. An enthusiastic crowd turned up to celebrate, including partner team members and members of the community.  

Policy Brief: IRA and Beyond

September's policy brief dives into the uncertain future of the Inflation Reduction Act, explores policy integrity in the northeast, examines community solar growth in the Midwest and mid-Atlantic and offers some much needed good news in California.

Project: Wheeler Gulch Solar 

Standard Solar and Caerus Piceance, LLC Partner on 12.18 MW Wheeler Gulch Solar Project in Colorado. This project will be a 12.18 MW ground-mounted solar array consisting of 22,0000 solar panels and generating 25 million kWh of clean, renewable electricity each year.

We were honored to host a Nigerian delegation and U.S. government officials this month as they toured several of our community solar systems at The Catholic University of America. The tour included viewing the largest urban solar array in America.
