In the recent Factor This! podcast from Renewable Energy World entitled Digesting RE+: IRA pain, financial turmoil and unmissable optimism, our President and CEO speaks with editor John Engel about what was top of mind for industry insiders at the recent RE+ conference in Vegas.

Project: Anne Arundel County Solar Project

We recently celebrated the inauguration of our latest solar project in our home state. This remarkable 1.3 MW carport and rooftop solar installation graces the Anne Arundel County's Bureau of Utility Operations Complex in Millersville, Maryland. It's set to offset a significant 90% of the complex's electricity requirements. 

Agrivoltaics & Community Solar

At our 2.8 MW Shepherds Mill community solar project in Carroll County, Maryland, Standard Solar has introduced a flock of sheep to help with grazing and vegetation management. Under the care of a local farmer, these new arrivals replaced thousands of pounds of fertilizer with natural sheep fertilizer, enriching the soil for future crop cultivation. This is agrivoltaics in action at its finest.

SEIA's Storyteller Project

Our very own C.J. Colavito, REP, Vice President of Engineering, had the privilege of being interviewed as part of the Solar Energy Industries Association Storytellers project at RE+ earlier this month. In this interview, C.J. candidly discusses his incredible career journey and what motivated him to fully immerse himself in the realm of renewables. But it's not just about him; C.J. also shared how his entire family, including his children, has enthusiastically embraced the renewable energy mission, actively contributing to the quest for a cleaner, greener world.
