Ribbon Cutting: Woburn Industri-Plex

Standard Solar, ECA Solar and local and regional officials were on hand for the ribbon-cutting ceremony for our new 4 MW brownfield solar project in Woburn, Massachusetts. This event marked the beginning of a new chapter in the history of the EPA Superfund site, and the project partners are proud to have reached this milestone, culminating in years of hard work by many individuals and companies.

Tour: Flushing Community Schools

Lieutenant Governor Gilchrist of Michigan recently toured Standard Solar's Flushing Community Schools 1.1 MW solar installation on a visit to the schools. Completed in 2020, the system consists of 5 rooftop arrays and 2 ground-mount arrays and is estimated to save the district $45,000 each year. The energy produced by these seven arrays also offsets nearly 100% of the district’s entire current electric loads.
