December 2023

Port Newark Container Terminal (PNCT)

We’re celebrating!! Standard Solar received a 2023 Solar Builder Project of the Year Editor's Choice Award for our 7.2 MW rooftop and carport PNCT solar project. This project demonstrated some serious construction ingenuity concerning design, in order to accommodate significant challenges around the soft soil, high water table and flooding. 

Project: Bluebonnet Solar Array, Texas

Standard Solar is proud to partner with EDF Renewables North America on a 9.9 MW solar project slated to yield an estimated 25,000 megawatt-hours of clean, renewable energy each year and help to forward Messer Americas' commitment to sustainability. It's an exciting addition to our portfolio.

Interview: Catholic University of America 

Our President and CEO, Scott Wiater, joined Dr. Peter K. Kilpatrick, president of The Catholic University of America, for an interview with the local news about our project at the university. Upon completion, the 7.4-megawatt Catholic University West Campus Community Solar Project will be the Washington metropolitan area’s largest urban community solar farm.
