☀️Growing Leadership, Adding New Projects and Celebrating the IRA

This month the industry marked the one-year anniversary of the Inflation Reduction Act. Over this year, our industry has achieved much: 170,000+ new clean energy jobs in 44 different states, 15 manufacturing facilities announced or expanded, $100 billion in private investment and much more. As we mark this anniversary our team reflects on the profound impact this growth has had on America's communities.

Standard Solar's month also included celebrating a new community solar project in Maryland, ranking on Solar Power World's Top Solar Contractor list and taking a look at what the new California legislation means to community solar in the state.

Project: Holly Springs Community Solar

Standard Solar has added an exciting new acquisition to its 24-project portfolio in Maryland: the FCP’s Holly Spring Meadows apartment complex. Acquired from partner New Columbia Solar, the 800-kilowatt carport array and a 921-kW rooftop array project will generate a combined 2,120-megawatt hours of clean energy annually.  (photos courtesy of @New Columbia Solar)

The entire Standard Solar team and the greater solar and storage industry recently celebrated one year since President Biden signed the seminal Inflation Reduction Act into law.

We still have a long way to go in order to realize a clean energy economy, but through the hard work and vision of a community of companies and individuals working together, we will make this next decade - and beyond - one that will truly count. We are excited to see what the future holds
